VICE PRESIDENT

We are currently seeking a Vice President’s for our Old Town Alexandria or NY office.    We are a small, dynamic agency.We deliver language and communication strategies that help clients change opinion, drive action and truly connect with their audiences, from consumers to employees to voters.We craft tactical, research-driven narratives that meet defined business objectives.We work for a wide range of corporations, associations and non-profits in virtually every industry.Do you fit into this picture?

Though we are small, we have had a large impact on the way people communicate in Washington and around the world.  Our language strategy is used to drive advocacy, public affairs, marketing, advertising, and PR campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, trade associations and public policy groups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-level client relationships by truly understanding their challenge, providing strategic communication counsel, leading research and consulting project teams and mentoring and motivating employees.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple client relationships; managing message development and strategy, survey and focus group design and analysis.
  • Develop an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods and how to apply them to specific client needs.
  • Play a significant role in pursuing new business opportunities and in driving the proposal and pitch processes.

Education and Work experience:
  • Credentials that demonstrate you are smart.
  • 8-10 years experience in public relations or advertising agency, corporate communication/marketing, federal agency or on the Hill; preferably a combination of at least two.

INTERNSHIPS

Interested in public opinion, politics, business, and communications?  Then an internship at Luntz, Maslansky is right for you.  An internship position at Luntz, Maslansky provides a unique opportunity to further those interests outside of the classroom and gives you the chance to apply those lessons in real world situations.  As an intern at Luntz, Maslansky you will be expected to handle many different duties, including, but not limited to:

  • Assisting with communication and strategy presentations for Members of Congress and senior managers at major corporations.
  • Learning how to read and analyze polling data.
  • Preparing graphic presentations, including charts, graphs using PowerPoint.
  • Assisting with research and technical demands for Instant Response sessions.

There are positions available for both fall and spring semesters and can be in either our New York or Alexandria, VA offices.  We are looking for interns interested in working full-time during regular weekday hours, but are flexible to other hours based on students’ needs.  For more details please contact the intern coordinator for the office where you intend to apply.
